Keychain – Head Gasket for Honda S07A
The Honda S07A is a 658 cc three-cylinder engine from Honda’s kei-car range of the 2010s. It was produced in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged form and is best known from the first-generation N-BOX, N-ONE and N-WGN, as well as the S660. Output ranges from 58 PS in the naturally aspirated versions to the familiar 64 PS kei-class limit in the turbo models. That gives the S07A two different roles: an everyday engine in cars such as the N-BOX and N-WGN, and a much more enthusiast-focused application in the S660. For identification, the S07A code is therefore joined by chassis codes such as JF1/JF2, JG1/JG2, JH1/JH2 and JW5.
Technically, the S07A is a water-cooled inline-three with a DOHC cylinder head, four valves per cylinder, chain-driven camshafts and Honda PGM-FI electronic fuel injection. Bore and stroke are 64.0 x 68.2 mm. N-BOX, N-ONE and N-WGN models were offered with naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions depending on specification; the turbo engines make 64 PS and 104 Nm, while the 58 PS naturally aspirated version is more clearly focused on everyday efficiency. In the S660, the same basic engine takes on a different role thanks to the mid-engine layout, low vehicle weight and sportier calibration.
Owners and mechanics dealing with S07A-powered cars mainly encounter the normal maintenance subjects of a small modern petrol engine: regular oil changes, chain drive, spark plugs and ignition coils, cooling-system condition and, on turbocharged versions, the turbocharger and boost-side hardware. In an N-BOX, N-ONE or N-WGN, the discussion is usually about everyday use and long-term maintenance, while S660 owners are more likely to look closely at modifications, previous hard use and overall condition. That mechanical context is also why the head-gasket shape works well as the motif.
Within the Japanese kei-car scene, the S07A is mainly recognised through the vehicles around it. The N-BOX Custom and N-WGN Custom represent the practical and highly personalised side of kei ownership, while the N-ONE and especially the S660 have a stronger enthusiast following. The JW5 S660 is the obvious performance-oriented application: mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, 660 cc turbo power and, depending on version, a manual gearbox or CVT. As a result, there is a substantial aftermarket around suspension, wheels, exhaust systems, intake parts and engine tuning. Searches for S07A, JW5, JG1 or JF1 may therefore come from different owners, but they still point back to the same Honda engine family.
Whether it lives on your own keys or as a gift for someone with an S660, N-ONE, N-BOX or N-WGN, this keychain stays focused on the engine itself. At first glance, the shape is technical and unusual; on second look, Honda and kei-car enthusiasts can place it quickly. It may mean something different to a JW5 S660 owner than to someone with a JG1 N-ONE or JF1 N-BOX, but the common link is the S07A and the cars that actually used it.
Proudly crafted in Germany, meticulously detailed and finely finished for a refined in-hand feel paired with a premium brushed surface.
