BMW N62 Keychain
The BMW N62 was introduced in 2001 as the successor to the M62 and powered a wide range of BMW’s V8 models until 2010. It was featured in the 5 Series E60/E61, 6 Series E63/E64, 7 Series E65/E66, as well as the X5 E53 and E70. With displacements ranging from 3.6 to 4.8 liters, the N62 offered drivers the signature BMW blend of refinement, torque, and smooth high-revving character.
Technologically, the N62 was BMW’s first production V8 to feature Valvetronic. Combined with Double-VANOS and an aluminum-silicon block design, it represented a major step in BMW’s V8 development. The N62B48 with 4.8 liters is especially well known for powering cars like the 550i and 750i, delivering impressive performance and effortless cruising ability.
