Keychain – Head Gasket for Suzuki F6A

The Suzuki F6A is one of the defining 660 cc three-cylinder engines from Suzuki’s 1990s kei-car era. It was developed in 1990 when Japan’s kei-class displacement limit increased from 550 to 660 cc, evolving from the earlier F5B with a longer stroke. With 657 cc, the F6A appeared across a remarkably wide range of Suzuki models, from the everyday Alto, Wagon R, Carry and Every to the Jimny. At the same time, it powered several kei performance cars that have become much more familiar to enthusiasts today, including the Alto Works, Cappuccino and Suzuki Cara or Autozam AZ-1. Its applications therefore range from basic commercial vehicles to lightweight sports cars.

Technically, the F6A is a water-cooled inline-three with a 65.0 mm bore and 66.0 mm stroke. Suzuki produced several distinctly different versions: SOHC with six valves, SOHC with twelve valves and DOHC with twelve valves. Naturally aspirated and turbocharged configurations were available, with the strongest versions reaching the familiar 64 PS kei-car limit. The early CN21S/CP21S Alto Works is a good example, using a DOHC 12-valve intercooled turbo version. The EA11R Cappuccino also uses a 64 PS DOHC 12-valve intercooled F6A. In the JA11 and JA12 Jimny, by contrast, the engine appears in SOHC turbo form with a more torque-focused character. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}

This variety is what makes the F6A more interesting than the simple description “660 cc three-cylinder” suggests. An F6A in a Carry has a very different specification and role from the DOHC turbo unit in a Cappuccino, despite sharing the same basic family designation. Today, ownership discussions mainly revolve around sensible oil and cooling-system maintenance, ignition components and, on turbo versions, the condition of the turbocharger and boost plumbing. With older Japanese imports, previous modifications and the way the vehicle has actually been used over several decades can matter just as much as the engine designation itself.

For enthusiasts, chassis codes provide particularly useful identification. EA11R points directly to the early F6A-powered Cappuccino, while the later EA21R already uses the K6A. Alto Works applications include CN21S and CP21S, followed by F6A versions such as HA11S and HA12S; higher-spec HA21S and HA22S models belong to the K6A side instead. The F6A is especially associated with JA11 and JA12 Jimny models, while CT21S identifies an early Wagon R application and HN11S a Suzuki Kei version. The Autozam AZ-1 PG6SA and its Suzuki sibling, the Cara PG6SS, also use the DOHC turbo F6A in a mid-engine layout. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}

Whether it lives on your own keys or as a gift for someone with a Cappuccino, Alto Works, Jimny, AZ-1 or another F6A-powered Suzuki, this keychain stays focused on the engine itself. Anyone familiar with EA11R, JA11 or simply F6A Turbo can identify the connection quickly. Because the engine appeared in such different vehicles, the head-gasket shape provides a fitting common reference to this classic Suzuki kei-engine family.

Proudly crafted in Germany, meticulously detailed and finely finished for a refined in-hand feel paired with a premium brushed surface.

*The "rubberized" covers (TPU) are clipped on, not glued. They still hold perfectly and can be removed if you prefer the "bare" look. We can't guarantee they can be reattached afterward. So either leave them on or take them off, but no back and forth :)
