In 2007 Volvo introduced the B6 SI6, a modern inline-six designed for transverse mounting. With 3.0–3.2 liters, DOHC, 24 valves and 238–304 hp, it powered XC60, XC70, S80 and V70 models. Our keychain miniaturizes the gasket shape of this engine in precise detail.
Engineering included aluminum blocks, compact packaging for FWD/AWD cars, variable valve timing and turbocharging for the T6 versions. It combined modern efficiency with classic inline-six smoothness.
Common issues: timing chains, turbos, PCV units and injectors. With maintenance and software updates, the SI6 proved durable and refined.
