The Nissan/Datsun L26 and L28 are straight-six members of the legendary L engine family, most famous for powering the Z-cars. With 2.6 and 2.8 liters of displacement, they drove the 260Z, 280Z, and larger sedans and wagons. The L26 debuted in the 260Z in 1973, while the L28 appeared in the 280Z and later in the Maxima.
