The Ford Pinto OHC – also known as the “T88” or simply the Pinto engine – was Ford’s European workhorse of the ’70s and ’80s. A rugged inline-four with a single overhead cam, simple engineering, and a legacy that spans daily drivers, motorsport icons, and everything in between. This keychain captures its gasket shape in a refined miniature, ready for your pocket.
From the early ’70s onward, the Pinto OHC powered models like the Capri, Taunus, Sierra, Granada, and of course the Escort RS2000. With displacements from 1.3 to 2.0 liters, it became a true all-rounder. The 2.0 OHC in particular earned cult status in the RS2000: free-revving, tuner-friendly, and still beloved in rally and kit cars today. Its cast-iron block was nearly indestructible, though the valve train and camshaft needed attention under heavy use.
