Keychain – Head Gasket for Honda CBR 1000 RR 2008–2026
This head-gasket keychain is a tribute to three generations of Honda Fireblade: CBR1000RR SC59, SC77 and SC82. From 2008 onwards the 1000cc inline-four uses a characteristic head-gasket outline that carries across these models – and that exact silhouette has been turned into a brushed stainless-steel miniature. Whether you ride an early SC59, a refined SC77 or a CBR1000RR-R Fireblade (SC82), you’ll recognise the shape instantly.
The SC59 generation brought the Fireblade into a new era: compact 999 cc four-cylinder, aluminium beam frame, under-engine exhaust on early bikes and later ABS and updated electronics. The SC77 added full ride-by-wire, more advanced rider modes, traction control and dedicated SP / SP2 models aimed squarely at track riders. With the SC82, Honda moved even closer to a WSBK-homologation concept – CBR1000RR-R Fireblade and Fireblade SP with aggressive chassis geometry, aerodynamics and electronics geared towards serious circuit use.
Common topics in the Fireblade world range from cam-chain tensioners and valve-clearance checks, through cooling-system care on hard-ridden track bikes, to ECU mapping and exhaust choices. SC59 owners often focus on fuelling, exhausts and suspension tuning; SC77 and SC82 riders also spend a lot of time talking about electronics settings, traction control, wheelie control, engine-brake strategies and quickshifter / blipper behaviour. All of that performance revolves around the same basic 1000cc inline-four whose gasket outline this keychain represents.
Across SC59, SC77 and SC82, the Fireblade has taken on different personalities but kept the same core idea: a compact litre-class four that works both on the road and on track. You see SC59s turned into pure track tools with race bodywork, SC77 SPs used as fast road and trackday bikes, and SC82 Fireblade SPs parked in pit lanes next to tyre warmers and lap timers – the kind of bikes where owners care about sag, fork height and tyre choice as much as about paint and polish.
That’s exactly where this keychain fits in. To non-riders it’s just a clean piece of brushed stainless steel; for riders who know the Fireblade story from 2008 to the current CBR1000RR-R, the head-gasket shape is a quiet but unmistakable signal. Perfect on the keys to your own CBR1000RR or CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, or as a small, very specific present for a friend whose life tends to revolve around litre-bike noise and tyre wear.
Proudly crafted in Germany, meticulously detailed and finely finished for a refined in-hand feel paired with a premium brushed surface.
